We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for a local project at the Cold Lake Air Weapons Range.

·        2 Excavator Operators

·        3 Dozer Operators

·        1 Grader Operator

Successful candidates will join our team supporting earthworks and general construction activities in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

·        Competitive hourly wage, negotiable based on experience.

·        Overtime after 8 hours per day or 44 hours per week.

·        9.6% vacation and statutory holiday pay.

·        Local project.

·        Monday to Saturday.

·        10–12-hour shifts per day.

·        Overtime and additional work as required.

·        Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

·        Fast-paced and active construction environment.

·        Steel-toe boots are required.

·        Must be 18 years of age or older.

·        Minimum 1–2 years of previous experience operating an excavator, dozer, or grader.

·        Experience with grading, backfilling, loading, and material hauling.

·        Ability to read and understand grade stakes, drawings, and blueprints.

·        Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation.

·        Valid CSTS 2020 certification required. Free online training is available through ACSA.

·        Ground Disturbance and First Aid certifications are considered assets.

·        Ability to successfully complete a criminal record check and fingerprinting as required for access to the Cold Lake Air Weapons Range/project site.

·        Drug and alcohol testing may be required to access certain project sites and/or as a condition of employment.

·        Complete required FLHAs, inspections, and other safety documentation.

·        Participate in toolbox talks and applicable company/site meetings.

·        Immediately report incidents, near misses, equipment damage, and hazards to site supervision.

·        Comply with all security, screening, and access requirements applicable to the Cold Lake Air Weapons Range.

Due to the location and security requirements of the Cold Lake Air Weapons Range, all successful candidates will be required to complete and successfully pass a criminal record check and fingerprinting/security screening prior to receiving authorization to access the project site. Employment and/or site access may be conditional upon meeting all applicable security requirements.
